Dani & Pete Climb Snowdon for Men’s Minds Matter

On Sunday 10th September, World Suicide Prevention Day 2023, Pete and I will be setting off to climb the highest mountain in England and Wales, the 3,560 feet giant - Mount Snowdon!
According to the World Health Organisation close to 800,000 people die each year as a result of suicide, and for as long as records have existed, male suicide rates have been significantly higher than they have been for women. In 2021, males accounted for three-quarters of suicide deaths and suicide remains the biggest killer of men under the age of 50. 
Built upon clinical and lived experience, Men’s Minds Matter dedicate themselves to the prevention of suicide and specialise in the development and delivery of interventions for all people experiencing a suicidal crisis. 
This will be a big challenge for us, both mentally and physically and so thank you for supporting us and the incredible work of Men’s Minds Matter.
