The Collett School is a (very) Special School for children aged 4-16 with Learning Disabilities The pupils at the school have a range of special educational needs including moderate learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and speech, language and communication needs. We're raising money for the development of new facilities, ranging from new floors and doors, to a new post-16 provision, to an enterprise village. As a teacher specialising in S.E.N; I am incredibly lucky to see the incredible efforts made by everyone at Collett to enrich the lives of the children we support. Improvements to the School would allow ALL the staff at Collett to continue their fabulous work in supporting some equally fabulous children! To raise some money for this noble cause, I have chosen to do something very wholesome and sensible for a cause close to my heart. So instead of just running I've decided I'm going to walk across burning embers. Why would I do something boring? The fire walk is on March 16th, but I will keep fundraising until April. As is the spirit of charity fundraising, I'd love to raise as much money as possible, and anything you can donate is much appreciated! - £10 buys some sensory toys. - £30 pays for a 30 minute music therapy session. - £100 would fund a bench for their social area.
So proud of you!!!! Xxx
Great cause xx
