You may or may not know that I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2015 and following surgery to remove the tumour I'm currently completely clear of the disease. I'm fortune enough to have caught it early and now I'm giving back to the hospital that operated on me via a wonderful charity set up by Suzanne Brown to honour the memory of her Dad AL. AL'S PAL is a wonderful charity based at Milton Keynes hospital whose volunteers spend time on the cancer ward talking to patients who are in for regular treatments, and also those who might be in the early or latter stages of this disease. Having cancer can sometimes feel like a very lonely experience. By spending time with the patients offering them a friendly ear and some feel good gifts we can do our bit to remove this feeling of loneliness or isolation. When we are allowed to, I'll be volunteering my time on the wards at MK Hospital. Please support this charity by supporting me as I throw myself out of an aeroplane!!!!
