Over the last two years, I have steadily got back into my running shoes, getting up to 10k last year. This year, I am looking to push myself harder with a half marathon, and wanted to do so for a worthwhile cause. SVC run a number of projects that encourage community inclusion, a great number of which support disadvantaged individuals including those experiencing ill mental health to socialise. I know how much of a difference connectedness and a supportive social network can make, and SVC work hard to provide just that for the people they support and the volunteers alike. If you agree with me on this worthwhile cause, please help me to stay motivated and to raise some funds for the fantastic projects SVC run.
