Team Fundraisers
I am a keen runner and coach of the Worthys U12 football team just outside of Winchester, so when I saw the opportunity to complete a half marathon in Winchester and improve the sporting facilities in the local area at the same time I jumped at it.
The race will be on Sunday 25th September and I will be raising money for Winchester SALT or the Winchester Sports, Arts and Leisure Trust. SALT is a great charity which seeks to enhance the sport, art and leisure within the Winchester area. Their main focus' are:
- helping local people and institutions connect and collaborate
- fostering the understanding between cultures and across generations
- making the community more resilient
Winchester SALT is fundraising to improve community sports facilities.
