Team Fundraisers
As many of you will know, last year I ran the Frome 10k to raise funds for CLAPA after finding out that our granddaughter would be born with this condition. Thanks to your fantastic generosity we raised over £1000 and this sum was matched by my employer. This year I am running for Stepping Stones, an Opportunity Group for children with special needs and who have recently had £10,000 of funding removed by local government. Each year the group has to raise in excess of £40,000 in order to continue providing the help and support for these children.
Stepping Stones will be an important part of our granddaughters development in her early years as shortly after her birth it was discovered that she had suffered a pre natal stroke resulting in cerebral palsy. I am sure Stepping Stones will prove invaluable over the coming years, not only for our granddaughter but for many other children like her.
Any amount however small will collectively make a BIG difference, so thank you all in advance.
