We are not young pups but we are tough pups. We are delighted to absolutely crucify ourselves by completing the Manchester Marathon on April 02 - Yes the full 26 friggin miles!!
Joanne Costello was my trigger to sign up for this as she was going to be my running partner. Unfortunately she has just been in hospital for an operation so she won't be donning her Wonder-woman outfit and out-boobing me around the course. So rather than chuck the towel in I decided to still support this wonderful charity and achieve a long held ambition of completing a full distance Marathon.
Training initially went well but I am carrying a calf injur ynow but rest assured it won't bloody stop me.
Thankfully all round top bloke and regular charity supporter Colin Warburton has agreed to step in for Joanne and be my Wonder Woman.
Together we are going to do this for the following cause

Contracted a horrendous bug - CAPNOCYTOPHAGA
This condition was contracted when his pet dog licked an open cut on David's body. Dogs carry this harmful bacteria in their mouths.
Unbelievably his major organs started to shut down and his body developed giant blisters and in no time at all he was on life support and close to death.
The NHS saved his life but his kidneys are done in and he is awaiting a transplant. The condition of his skin has been and is an ongoing nightmare.
The Riff Raff recently visited the family and observed David's injuries including his severely septic foot & heal which is in danger of requiring amputation. David needs a kidney transplant. David seemed a very humble guy. He seems to have accepted all the shit that comes with his current circumstance in a very matter of fact way. His military background no doubt has a bearing on his matter of fact coping strategy, but at the end of the day what else can he do?
The Riff Raff want to stop this family having their house repossessed in the midst of an awful situation. Please help x
