Run Reigate 2017 - it's a family affair!

My name in Sophie and I am 6 (nearly 7). In September I am going to take part in Run Reigate with my little brother Joe. We are running in the kids race. My Auntie Marie and my Uncle Matty and Auntie Ellen are running the half marathon that day too - its a very long way! We are all raising money for Stripey Stork. They look after children who don't have many clothes and toys and give them the things they need which is a really good thing to do. Please give lots of money to Stripey Stork and we will run very fast! They collect donations of new and pre-loved items for babies and children (equipment, clothes, furniture and toys) and, after ensuring they are clean and safe, rehome them via a network of healthcare professionals directly to where they are needed most. Great pride is taken on how the items are passed on – recipients should feel they are receiving a gift not a handout. Since October 2013 Stripey Stork has responded to 3000 requests for help and distributed goods valuing over £1 million to families who, because of a range of different and complex circumstances are unable to support their children with basic necessities.
