I'm finally getting to do something I always thought about doing but never had the nerve to do it. It was one of my mams ambitions but unfortunately I lost her a year ago. I also lost a really close friend Gill Burn who became involved with this very worthy charity after developing breast cancer. Gill was a truly amazing lady who I miss dearly. She was strong, determined and very brave. I ran the Sunderland 10k last year and now intend to finish my first half marathon.
