Help us provide a healthy breakfast snack for any student who needs it at DCHS.

There are lots of reasons why students might need a breakfast boost when they arrive in school:

Maybe they have to leave home early for the school bus so they don’t have time for breakfast first
Or, maybe they ate breakfast at home but it feels like a long time ago and they need a little extra when they get to school
Or, maybe their metabolism is slow to get going in the morning so they didn't feel able to eat first thing
Or, maybe money is tight at home and they know they can help out by eating less
Or, maybe they just ran out of time

Our Cost of Living survey and a student breakfast survey clearly showed that there are young people in school who will benefit from breakfast before they hit the classroom.

By providing breakfast for all we will make sure no student needs to start the day hungry.
