*** Less than a fortnight to go and the training is...erm...starting soon!!!! ***
Dementia affects people young and old and if you have experienced a family member living through it you will know how devastating it is for those affected and their carer's.
Gatehouse is a small local charity doing big things in Bury St Edmunds. They are hoping to set a Dementia Hub in Bury for those affected by this illness.
When I heard about what they are hoping to do I approached them because it sounded such an exciting idea and although they have got some backing already they still have some way to go to realise this project.
But with your help we can help them set up this local project by making a donation however small (or big!).
My part in all this is that I have been lucky to be picked to do the Prudential 100 (miles!) which I hope to complete at the end of July 2016.
This is one of Europe's biggest bike rides involving more than 20,000 riders following the Olympic route through London and Surrey and back again finishing down The Mall. Unfortunately the infamous Box Hill and Leith Hill is in between all that!
I hope you can dig deep for this much needed resource.
Thank you.
