I am running The Great West Run, a half marathon in Exeter on Sunday 15th October.
On Friday 6th October, Paddock Wood Primary School was broken into, and whilst details are scarce at present, school equipment was damaged and stolen, and the school had to be closed for the day.
The running club I belong to, meets twice a week at the school and loads of the runners have children at the school or even work there. Because of this connection, and to highlight the part this school plays in the community, I would be very grateful for any small donation you could make towards helping the school at this time.
I have only been running for a year and this will be my second half marathon. The school has been a big part of my running journey and I will be proud to raise some funds with my efforts.
