Hi everyone,
On Saturday 5th October Rupert (yes I have roped him in as well) and I are doing a 4 hour spin for Southside Young Leader’s Academy (SYLA)
Some of you will know that I volunteer with SYLA at the weekends and they are a great charity that inspires young black boys in south London to become the next generation of business and community leaders. SYLA runs weekend programmes, after-school clubs, mentoring and leadership training to inspire the boys to become agents of change in their own lives and become the next generation of young black leaders .In partnership with the boys, their parents and schools, the Academy provides a disciplined framework to enhance self-esteem and encourage boys to stay focused and pursue their ambitions.
They really do a fantastic job so any donations will be greatly appreciated!
Given that I can only survive a 45 min spinning class at the moment this will be challenge. The energy gels and padded shorts are at the ready but I’m still not expecting to be able to walk for a few days afterwards:)
Thanks so much,
Emma and Rupert xx
