I'll be running my first half marathon to help raise funds for the wonderful charity 'Music In Hospitals'. MIH employ professional musicians to travel to hospitals, hospices, residential homes, day centres and special schools to perform tailored concerts for those receiving care and treatment for an illness or disability. Having worked with MIH myself for the past year, I have had the pleasure of performing to some wonderful people. I can't emphasise enough how important live music is to the well being of those in care - the transformation throughout a concert is astounding and truly heart warming.
