As soon as I heard a local charity were putting on a boxing show to raise funds for my God son Kayden Simpson who has severe Cerebral Palsy I just had to be part of it. Kayden is a smashing lad and we love him dearly but the care needs his condition brings are just mind boggling. Any kind of assistance that the family can get is totally justified and it will be a pleasure to contribute. The Riff Raff Society are raising funds for Kayden to upgrade the family mobility vehicle so it can fit Kayden's big wheelchair and the family all in at once. This will make a big difference as it means they can go on trips as a family. The show is also supporting a young girl (Madison Shields (5) who is on a cancer treatment program) The Riff Raff are sending her and family on a summer respite holiday so again it's an honour to be part of that. When it comes to the sport I have never boxed but I have been practising Muay Thai boxing for a number of years. The two sports are like oranges and lemons - Totally different gravy! In the matching event spa I had a strong urge to kick my opponent Karl Beswick (Seems like a nice lad) in the solar plexus. Thankfully I managed to hold back on that and the match was rubber stamped. So Kev vs Karl is on I'm proud to be the oldest fossil in the show so I'm looking to prove age is just a number (50) and so as long as the hip, knee, neck and elbows hold up and I remember to take my false teeth out before going through the ropes I'll be right. Please sponsor me to make a difference Thanks Kev
