It has been a great pleasure to be associated with the Riff Raff Society since my debut scrap last year. It was less of a pleasure back then to lose on points to Steve Tanswell who has proved himself to be a cracking boxer. On numerous occasions during last years bout I was just millimetres from catching him flush on the chin. I put everything into taking him out but hands up, Steve was a slippery old eel and a deserved winner and now he is a friend which is what good sport is all about.
So I'm back for another shot. This time round I have been matched against Kev Arrowsmith who is a Thai boxer in the weight class above my own. So this is another big challenge and one that I am well up for.
The charity is raising money for two local kids facing hardship challenges. Kayden Simpson (7) Severe Cerebral Palsy and Madison Shields (5) Kidney Cancer Treatment. The Charity is upgrading Kayden's family mobility vehicle to improve his day to day so the whole family can travel with him and for Madison we are sending her on a summer respite holiday.
Thanks to everyone who is supporting me. If you can't make the show I believe it will be streamed on Facebook too so like The Riff Raff Society on Facebook and look out for that.
Hope you can get behind me and make a donation
Cheers
