Warwickshire district Sea Cadets hold a annual boating regatta in which cadets take part in competing in different boating activities, the winners of each go through to the area compertitions.

Activities like these benefit the youth of today by enabling them to use the skills and knowledge they have gained at unit level to compete against other units at district level. These activities promote teamwork and enthusiasm amongst cadets.

If the cadets succeed and go through to Area or National level they get the chance to travel to different locations nationally such as HMS Raliegh in Plymouth or HMS Excellent in Portsmouth and meet other cadets from all over the country.
