Lee Race - Urmston Royal Wedding Tri

This Saturday May 19th I will be crucifying myself with a hangover on Higher Rd Urmston attempting the following Ever been monotonous training - bored to tears in the gym? - Think about this! 5k on the rowing Machine 10km treadmill 42k gym bike ride to finish. Then a well earned pint or visit to A & E That's me Urmston Town Centre (Higher Rd 11am onwards) Why? Because the Riff Raff Society have teamed up with Paramount Fitness, Cheeky Cherubs &The Barking Dog to host an Old School Royal Wedding Street Party. So while everyone will be getting right on the pop to celebrate the Royal Wedding I have been talked into to joining Urmston Energiser Bunny Daz Porter to spend the day hardcore working out Why? Because The Riff Raff Society has had a funding application in from Mr David Cox. His wife is long term poorly and has cancer and his younger brother Graham (51)has just passed away with no life insurance leaving David with a shortfall of £1000 to meet the cost of the the funeral after gathering in the family savings together.(£2500 - Funeral Cost £3500) In short he needs a leg up at a time he should be putting his time and money into looking after his wife. So i'm going to be putting my legs up (& down) thousands of times to try and drum up some support for this campaign. please donate or come down on Saturday and throw some money in the collection bucket.
