love the work that People First Dorset do and met them several years ago when I first arrived in Dorset. Their work is really important for everyone they work and play with, for families and individuals.
As Chief Executive of Dorset County Council, (Debbie Ward), I get to meet and work with lots of organisations and some make a big impact when you meet them, People First Dorset made a huge impression. I love the fun they bring along with all the work they do.
The Glitter Ball was a wonderful event and the work of the Friendship club is so inspiring I wanted to do something more than my job to work with them so I am delighted that three colleagues have agreed to join me in running in the Weymouth Half Marathon to raise lots of lovely cash for fun.

Have all committed to running on 18th March and want to raise as much cash between us as we can. Its going to be a big challenge for us all, although some of us more than others!
Thank you so much for your support and any extra contributions based on what order and state we'll finish in are to be encouraged, it is a great cause and thanks to the other Council Chief Execs in Dorset who may not be running but we'll have their support.
