Participants:

Jason Goddard - CEO of Dovecote School
Neil Gage - Head Teacher of Dovecote School
Rob Tipping - Finance Manager at Dovecote School

My name is Jason Goddard, I am the CEO of Dovecote School. I have a unique blend of experiences within education leadership roles and the Children’s Services Sector. Professional experiences gained as a Senior leader in Mainstreams schools as well as in LA (Local Authority) SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools, both in the UK and Australia. 10 years has spent working for the DFE (Department for Education) supporting and challenging leaders in leadership and management and curriculum change. Embarking on the challenge of cycling over 70 miles a day for 12 days is both daunting and exhilarating. As a relative newcomer to cycling, I began earnest training in October, discovering muscles I never knew existed. Enduring the discomfort of a hard seat brings its own set of challenges. However, at Dovecote School, we believe in embracing challenges, and this cycling endeavour is our way of doing just that. Our aim is not only personal growth but also to contribute to a meaningful cause. We aspire to raise funds for a local charity, specifically Children's World, with further details to follow. Your support in this endeavour is genuinely appreciated.
