I'm really looking forward to joining Team Love Kingston for Kingston Charitable Foundation, rowing in the iconic Kingston Dragon Boat Race, to raise money to support local people through the Kingston Charitable Foundation grants programme.
I am hoping to raise £500, as this would make up a whole grant which would then go directly to support a local charitable project or an individual/family in our community.
Kingston Charitable Foundation launched just 18 short months ago, and in its first year alone directly supported 12,555 local people by awarding grants in tailored and meaningful ways.
If you would like further information about these grants that were awarded in 2021 or indeed would like further information about Kingston Charitable Foundation, please contact CEO, Hicky Kingsbury
Good luck!
Thank you for your generous donation which will support great projects in Kingston. If you can, please come and cheer on Team Love Kingston this Sunday from 9.15am in Canbury Gardens.

About Kingston Dragon Boat Challenge
Dragon Boat Racing is an exciting way of motivating and integrating people in teams while having a lot of fun. It’s a great platform for team building, whilst most importantly raising funds for local charities, and contributing to the local community. There is plenty of room for supporters to view the colourful and exciting races and there will be supporting activities such as children’s funfair rides and food vendors, plus market stalls to add to a fun atmosphere for the teams and supporters - so come along to Canbury Gardens, Lower Ham Road and watch the racing. To add to the fun, teams are encouraged to come in fancy dress (Pirates, Smurfs, Vikings, etc) and a prize will be awarded to the best dressed teams! There will be a professional race commentator and racing starts at 9.30 am - the day will conclude with a prize giving ceremony at the end of the day.
