We will upgrade existing systems at Drystone Radio as well as adding additional enhancements. Coupled with our new studio technology upgrades (already in place) this will mean that we can run structured training schemes to help those looking to get into the creative industry/needing help with public speaking and much more. We will be using the systems to enhance our broadcasting as most importantly it will give us much more flexibility to carry out work such as outside broadcasts.

Drystone Radio has been broadcasting on FM for almost 10 years and in that time has not been able to upgrade the software used for broadcasting. In order to stay current and provide training for individuals that is relevant to the industry as well as improve the quality of our output - we need to put new systems in place.

A software upgrade will result in a better broadcast - meaning that we can more effectively serve the community, as well as allowing us to deliver better/more appropriate media training to people of all ages/backgrounds/abilities. We would hope to expand the organisation through new volunteers and attempt to genuinely make a difference to peoples lives.
