I have been using this great local charity for the last 3 years with my daughter and son. It provides free stay and play for under 5's and does outreach work in the community.The charity is growing and needs your help with its latest project.
The Big Red Bus Club would like to start a Baby Blues Choir session. This would be aimed at local mums in the surrounding area who suffer from post natal depression. Each session would be a change for each mum to come and meet other local mums, and enjoy some singing with their baby.
How the funding will be spent
The money we raise from this appeal will go towards the session for a whole year. It would pay for a member of Global Fusion to come and sing with the group, to provide tea & coffee for the group on each session and all session material (singing sheets etc).
How this will benefit the community
The Big Red Bus Club is a small stay and play centre located in a small corner of Charlton Park. It has offered a volunteer run service for many years and has recently become a charity. With any charity we always need funding for new projects we start. This project is very close to the clubs heart as many of our mums have suffered from PND after having children. This project would help many of our mums, and future mums, entering the world of motherhood.
