My wife (Alison) has been involved in the area of Autism for more than 20 years, both as a teacher for young adults & children and more recently as a specialist trainer. The latter supporting the staff of schools and helpers who deal with the huge challenges that face children with this diagnosis. The disturbing increase of this diagnosis over recent times, combined with my growing knowledge of the subject has given me reason to choose this for my local fund raising campaign.
The organistion that i have chosen is a local non-profitable organisation that is being led by an inspirational person, who is looking to provide a support network and learning facilities to Loughborough, which will change the life for many local families.
Please help me raise funds for this fantastic cause and make my 1st marathon a memorable one.
