I love little better than using my big mouth to advocate for those who need a voice. Tragically for so many people, sexual violence is still a topic that is silenced by shame and societal taboos. Through the work of Peterborough Rape Crisis, we aim to challenge these misconceptions and to support the survivors of sexual violence in the local area - women and girls, men and boys. The charity is reliant on the support of our generous volunteers and fundraising to deliver much of its value, outside of the funded contracts we support. Every penny raised will go to furthering the support of local survivors of sexual violence, and will motivate me to get through that blasted, hilly, marathon...
