Hi, thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
I'm Emma, 34 years old, and a working mum of two who enjoys a good night chilling out with a nice cold drink or 2, or 3 (you get the idea, lol). This month though, I'm staying sober for the whole of October to raise funds for Salute, an organisation which I am now closely linked to and where I have made some very good friends.
Salute is a non-profit organisation who provide support on many levels to ex-servicemen/women (veterans) from the local area with any difficulties they may experience during their transition from military life back into civilian life. This includes job, housing and benefit advice where needed, and they also offer counselling services for veterans with issues such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other combat stress related mental health problems.
