Why they need our serviceThe project is needed because too many young people are leaving school without qualifications and falling through the cracks at a vital point in their lives. Many of those finishing education have poor basic skills or have little support and struggle to take the next step towards developing their future career goals. This leads to youth unemployment and diminished motivation to engage in further education or training. Research shows that without addressing this problem now, this generation risks
Plan and expected resultsWe do recognize the importance of evaluating our work in order to measure success or failure. We use standardised evaluation and feedback forms to obtain regular feedback from the young people, our partners, and our own volunteers, at reviews and on completion of action plans. We measure satisfaction and any soft outcomes, distance travelled and or progression. Young people are also actively encouraged to give informal feedback through suggestion boxes, testimonials and lessons using 'blind' m
