Development of an events program to promote and educate people about history and heritage with a special interest in the Civil War. Raise funds towards the new museum by increasing Friends membership through the events program.

Gives opportunity for more people to become involved in local history and to learn about history in an informal learning setting

50 new members would raise £500 towards the new museum in Newark and Sherwood. The project will introduce new people to history in general but also the Civil War as a specialist subject.
