as a lot of you know on the 1st of feb 2017, my daughter Evie who is 6 years old was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
she now needs to do regular blood testing 5+ times per day and needing insulin injected 4+ times every day.
on the 5th of august Evie is going to be completing a sponsored 5k walk for type1 kids.
Type 1 Kidz supports children, young people with Type 1 Diabetes and their families in North East England; as well as working with Paediatric Hospital Teams to make continuous changes to the services. To find out more visit www.type1kidz.com.
type1kidz have been amazing. they have introduced evie to other children dealing with type one. as well as providing professional and personal advice from professionals and other parents dealing with a child with type 1.
