Hello everyone!
I am Hassan Atta from Pakistan and I participated in the FFI Global Immersion Program in Annalong, Northern Ireland in 2023.One of the key components of this program was to help us learn how to have the most impact on our community. FFI follows a RECIPE of Resilience, Empathy, Communication, Impact, Playfulness and Effort. While I learned all of these skills throughout my program, I am choosing to use Impact in my community.FFI fosters these skills in individuals so that they can be the best version of themselves and in turn, help their community be the best version of itself, this is part of the reason every participant is required to do a Social Action Project (SAP).Throughout my SAP journey, I was looking for an issue to solve in my community, and in the end, this is the one that stuck with me the most and I am choosing to help tackle it.
The lack of essential school supplies at my school is a major hindrance for many students in their academic journey. My SAP aims to tackle that exact hindrance by providing school supplies for anyone and everyone who needs them. By setting up a box filled with necessary school supplies, my project aims to provide students with all the supplies they might need throughout their school journey.The duration of this project is from February to May 2024 and the majority of the funds will be going towards storage boxes and school supplies.
All of the funds donated will be utilized towards the project in Pakistan; FFI is only facilitating the fundraising process!
