Firestone Freezer 2020 supports Horizons Plymouth
Firestone Events CIC is a local group that organises a New Year's Day swim in Plymouth Sound to support local charities. This year they are supporting the Horizons Children's Sailing Charity.
Horizons makes it possible for disabled and disadvantaged children to learn to sail and gain confidence, skills and self esteem. They target the most deserving youngsters and offer them this opportunity with no cost barrier.

About Firestone Freezer 2020
After the success of our first event last year, Plymouth's only New Years day sea swim is back for 2020! The event will be taking place again at Firestone Bay near Devils Point and we will be open from 10:00 at the Stonehouse Lawn Tennis Club (http://sltc.online/about-us/) for registration, hot drinks and a natter with other swimmers. At 11:00 we will head down to the beach to brave the water. Whether you're in for 30 minutes or 3, wearing a full wetsuit or speedos it doesn't matter, the day is all about having fun.
