we wish to provide a completely controlled and as safe an environment for all our members (children) and visitors as is humanly possible by bringing in to operation our First Aid project which includes both training for volunteers together with the purchase of a defibrillator.

In view of recent medical history involving cardiac arrests and deaths of young people whilst undertaking their sporting activities it is felt that this project, providing First Aid training, together with purchasing and training to use a defibrillator is a step in the right direction to help to ensure as far as possible the continued safety and lives for our 400 plus children and our some 10,000 visitors

As we cater for some 34 Junior and youth teams consisting of some 400 plus children between the ages of 6 to 18 years together with in excess of 90 volunteers and frequently have over 500 vistors each week which rises to 2000 plus at our main event tournaments the benefits and results would be obvious on the scene quick and adequate cover for almost any injury, illness,accident or medical need.
