As part of our graduate community project we have decided to give back to our local area.
This June we will be travelling at least 600km (to Hastings and back!) for Blackwood & District Foodbank.
Any contribution, big or small, can have a huge impact on the people in our community!

Any contribution, big or small, can have a huge impact on the people in our community!
- 1 in 5 of the UK population are living below the poverty line.
- Even before the pandemic, 3 in 10 children in Wales were living in poverty, with almost 1 in 5 children eligible for free school meals. With school holidays approaching families may struggle to pay for both food and childcare.
- During the Covid-19 crisis, Blackwood foodbank delivered 1,246 three day emergency supply packs, proving how vital this is in our area.
- Monetary donations allow foodbanks to purchase the most important and necessary products in bulk.
