Georgie, Jacob and I are raising money for the Charity Flamingo Chicks; an inclusive community which provides an opportunity for children with disabilities and illnesses, such as Cancer, to enjoy ballet and dance with their friends. We both love dance so this is important to us - we believe that every child should have the chance to dance. Its terrible that some don't.
This May, we have our 'May100' fundraising campaign which links with the Captain Tom 100 nationwide fundraising movement, to mark the incredible spirit of Captain Sir Tom Moore. We are asking people to get active..Run, walk, swim, cycle, roll or paddle...any way you like! This is #100YourWay and its all about Breaking Down Barriers and encouraging everyone to get out and get active to support their physical and mental health. We need to raise vital funds to keep disabled and poorly children dancing.
FLAMING-DOH!
Georgie came up with the wonderful idea of making jars of Flaming-Doh; bright pink sparkly play doh! On Friday 21 May, we have a little stand outside Georgie's school for years R, 1 & 2 where we will be selling jars for £1 aswell as raffle tickets separately for £1 each. For every jar or ticket sold we will be doing a star jump and we are aiming to raise £100. That will be 100 star jumps (we hope). 100% of proceeds will be going to Flamingo Chicks.
Please donate freely, buy a raffle ticket or try your own May 100 challenge:
Flamingo Chicks are an amazing charity, all about providing the magic and sparkle in their classes and we are hoping to raise as much as possible for them so more children can dance!!!
We have some amazing raffle prizes rolling in and we will post photos here updating you on our journey :)
Raffle will be drawn on Friday 28 May!
Thanks, Vicky and Georgie x
