Removal of existing flooring throughout, laying of self-levelling latex screed and new vinyl floor tiles.

The Headquarters is 30 years old with the original flooring partly replaced in the main hall area due to cracks. Some of the original floor tiles have come away from the concrete slab. Whilst not in a dangerous condition, consideration has to be given to the type of activities that can be done by the Beaver, Cub & Scout sections.

New flooring throughout the Headquarters will improve the internal appearance. A wider range of activities for the young people of the Group will be available. Also, this could make using of the headquarters by other local interest groups more attractive than at present.
