On 8 October 2017 I am running in the Putney and Fulham Riverside Half Marathon to raise money for South West London Law Centres.
Before I started training I hadn't run more than a mile for a couple of years, and I have a tendency to trip over, so it could all go horribly wrong. However, I started training along the beach this summer and have kept pounding the pavements and river path this autumn,
I've been a trustee of SWLLC for the past three years, and want to support their incredible work helping people who can't afford legal advice to keep their homes, deal with debt and manage difficult employment and immigration issues. In the past few years the need for SWLLC's help has grown but legal aid funding has been cut, so they really do need the money.
Any sponsorship will be much appreciated by both me and the charity.
