After 6 years working in mainstream primary, an opportunity came along for me to join The Collett school. A chance, I thought, to give a little extra!
So here I am, three weeks in, and I've been roped in to a wing walk for charity!
That's right, strapped to the top of a 1940's bi-plane to fly around the Oxfordshire countryside!
So why did I agree to such madness?
It's simple, the Collett School is an wonderful place, which gives children amazing care and opportunities to live their lives to the best of their abilities both academically and socially delivered by brilliant staff that give their all to help the children to achieve their full potential.
The Collett School is the lowest funded special educational needs school in Hertfordshire and fundraising helps to buy much needed and appreciated equipment.
So there it is! I need to raise at least £700, in around six weeks, to make a decent amount of money for the school but i would love to make at least £800 + so...
don't be afraid to dig deep!
