Look what Julies signed up for (Ha!)
Velocity is “The Nearest Thing to Flying”! Home to the longest zip line in Europe and the fastest in the world.
Speeds in excess of 100mph can be reached.
The journey up the mountain in a specialised off road vehicle is magnificent.
The Big Zipper is a mile long zip line that provides riders with a birds-eye view of the historic quarry and the spectacular North Wales coastline and beyond.
Participants will be supplied with a safety helmet, goggles and a flying suit and are advised to wear a nappy.
Julie is doing this to raise money for disabled mum (Traverse Myelitis) Sarrane Creedy of Stretford. The Riff Raff Society are sending the family and a carer to Eurodisney. Any funds pledged to Julie will help pay for their trip.
