Hi all,
On the weekend of 20-21 May, I will be undertaking a Digital Detox in aid of Focus West London. Please sponsor me!
For 24 hours, I will unplug from all digital devices including my mobile phone and laptop, which means no Facebook or YouTube!
This will be a challenge for me because I love using the internet to unwind and have a laugh through looking at funny videos and sharing jokes.
However, instead of staring at screens I will be embracing nature and the outdoors (let's hope it doesn't rain!)
Focus West London is a Saturday club for autistic children that I have been involved with since early last year. Children on the Autistic Spectrum learn vital play, social and language skills in a fun, nurturing environment using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles.
Having seen the tremendous progress that the children make during their time at the club, I can honestly say that Focus is an incredible organization providing a badly needed service to children and parents. As you might imagine, running this type of club is not a cheap endeavour, so please help me raise money for them!
