HDCF Food Hub was set up in Huddersfield with one simple belief: no one in our town should go hungry. When families face hardship, we step in with dignity and care, delivering food parcels straight to their homes so they can focus on getting back on their feet.

In the first four weeks alone, we have supported more than 150 families (over 450 people, including 200+ children). Behind every number is a real human story.

Like Female A (name hidden for privacy). Recently widowed and left to care for her two young children after losing her husband who was the family’s only source of income. She told us she was unable to afford to feed herself and her children and was falling behind on her bills. She felt all alone and in desperation, but when a food parcel arrived at her door, she said it felt like “a reminder that we’re not alone”. There are many more families like hers.
