Our team is running the Southampton Half Marathon on 3 May 2026 for Men’s Minds Matter, the suicide prevention specialists. We are doing so in memory of our wonderful friend and colleague, Pathik, raising as much awareness and money for the charity as we can along the way to help others in future.

Pathik was an incredible human, and a true inspiration. We each have our own stories and memories, but we are all united in knowing how very much he is missed, and how much of a positive impact Pathik made on the world. We are also enjoying the irony that whilst he was a super-speedy sprinter, he would absolutely not have been keen to run 13.1 miles with us.  He is sure to be laughing at us right now 😊

75% of all deaths by suicide are male, and a man or boy dies by suicide every two hours in the UK. Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under the age of 55. Every pound donated to our fundraiser will help to change this.

Any donations will be amazing! Whatever the size, we are immensely grateful. Men’s Minds Matter is a charity we feel very strongly about. They provide counselling support and suicide interventions, as well as training mental health professionals to prevent suicide.  Men’s Minds Matter also direct research (something many of us feel very passionately about!) to help to make suicide a thing of the past.
