Team Fundraisers
The Riff Raff Society recently threw a party for my Mrs Michaela. It was not only a real lift for her emotionally it also put us on a more secure financial place and enabled us to stop worrying so much about when where and how much our next trip to hospital is going to cost. They handed over £1350 from the The fundraiser at the Melville with Nick Dillon's art bringing in around half of that. We were really humbled by the party, the gathering of friends and by donations made directly through local giving to Michaela.
The Society challenged me to run the full Manchester Marathon for Michaela and push on to fund a real respite break for her. She is my world so it is an absolute pleasure to brush the dried turn moss soil off my trainers from 27 years ago.
Thankyou already to those friends of ours that have already sponsored me. This charity move fast. We've had that money (£1350) and a massive boost it was too.
