Team Fundraisers
Our team Free Range Chicks is Tara Goldsmith, Lisa White, Sarah Schofield & Larissa Clarke & we will be battling on land and water, through mud, on ropes, problem solving and anything else Canoe Trails can throw at us against 7 other teams made up of local Bedford Businesses to raise much needed funds for the brilliant local family support charity FACES.
If you can spare some cash to support our team efforts we would be very grateful, every penny helps.
Just £5 can make a difference as you can see here:
£5.00 pays for a small gift for a child (colouring books, crayons, reading books). Volunteers take these to the family visit so they can play and interact with the children or keep the children busy whilst we talk to the parents.
£10.00 – pays for emergency electricity or gas for a family in financial crisis.
£25.00 - pays for a bag of fresh groceries, milk, fruit etc. for a family in crisis
£30.00 is the cost of one family visit each week – we have paid staff who also work with the family.
£50 – pays for a child to come on the annual summer outing (lots of deprived children do not get the opportunity to have outing or holidays, especially if there is more than one child)
£100 sponsors one family support volunteer for a year.
