Sponsored Sleep Out for Halifax Homeless Charities

Hi all, A few of us are sleeping out under the stars to raise money for 2 charities in Halifax. Both of these charities support people who are homeless, and between them cover such a wide range of services, both short and long term support. The Gathering Place This charity provides hot meals for its clients during the day, as well as being on hand to provide advice, guidance and support for people who are currently without a home. During the cold winter months of January to March, they also provide a winter shelter to give people somewhere to sleep, a shower and a hot meal. Smartmove This charity provides more longer term support and helps to get people into their own forever homes.
