Thomas has been a student at the Collett School for over three years and has enjoyed every minute, becoming more confident and mature aided by the dedication and enthusiasm of the teachers combined with the opportunities the school offers.
One of the projects that they are now trying to raise funds for is to build a Life Skills house which will enable the students and local young adults the opportunity to experience life away from home in preparation for semi-independent living. This would be a unique learning experience for the students and another step preparing them for adult life.
This is a project which could still help Thomas and I know will be of huge benefit to young adults like him and this is my small way of contributing to that.
