The phase 2 project adds a completely new and sympathetically designed hall to the existing buildings. The new hall will adjoin the phase 1 building providing a weatherproof, seamless transition within the complex and will add space that is approximately 30% larger than the extended main hall. The resulting building will become one of the largest centres of its kind in the area and will provide comprehensive sports, catering, social and leisure facilities to Blean and the surrounding villages.
Why they need our serviceThe expansion of business and transport links, coupled with proposed growth in housing in the North Kent area means that Blean has become a much sought after area to live in. For the village to continue to offer its residents quality facilities it is essential that the hall keeps pace with local growth. The phase 2 project provides a large, versatile and environmentally conscious, multi-function space that can be used for many purposes, by both young and old alike, to improve quality of life.
Plan and expected resultsWe have proved that we can bring the phase 1 project to reality. We now need your donations to help us make the phase 2 plan happen. Visitors and residents have expressed their gratitude for the work that has been done and the foresight of the committee has meant that the land for the phase 2 building has already been secured. The committee will continue to apply for grants for this project - with your help we are confident we can make phase 2 happen and give the village the hall it deserves.
