Dan's Snowdonia Challenge

Hi, I'm Dan and I will be attempting the 2018 Snowdonia Challenge*. A challenging 3 day 100km walk which includes 5,000 meters of ascent! When I signed up for this challenge at the beginning of the year I had no idea that I would be immobile for a month, hobbling around the house on crutches after opening my knee on a rock. A little under two months and 14 stitches later and my knee has recovered leaving all but a nasty looking scar. Having been unable to do any exercise in that month however my fitness has taken a big hit and I am now focusing on getting my fitness back. It will take all my will and determination to complete this challenge. It would be a great help knowing that I had your support while I train for and attempt this challenge. The money I raise will go to the Snowdonia Society so that the important work that our volunteers and staff members undertake can continue. I am privileged as a Project Officer with the society to able to work alongside these dedicated volunteers that give up their free time in all weathers to protect and enhance Snowdonia.
