B) Structured Education Programme (SEP), 1) "COMPUTER CLUB" - educational project/recreational, 2) Support, advocacy and representation at school for children who have problems at school, particularly those threatened with exclusion. 2) Futures of Returning to Work (ForWorK): A) Computer courses, B) employment support.
Why they need our serviceUsers are from disadvantaged families, and from deprived areas of the boroughs of: Brent, Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Kensington and Chelsea. For example, RBKC, is considered a very rich borough some areas are within the 20% and 10% most deprived areas in England. One area of Golborne (our area) is within the worst 5%. Our aim/objective is to give our users an equal chance to achieve well, by providing educational and employment training and support.
Plan and expected resultsF.O.Y: A) Supp School: 1) feedback with the input of parents/school regarding improvements in school work, 2) Test/exam results. 3) Achieving entry into 1st or 2nd choice 6th form, 4) 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice university places. B) SEP: 1) Computer exam results (CE), 2) a) further education, b) apprenticeships, c) Work 5) Exclusions support, a) number of prevented school exclusions, b) children returning to full time education. 2) ForWork: a) CE results , b) Further Education, c) Work
