Five gardens will be built at the Thrive Trunkwell Garden Project, near Reading, to help people who have a range of disabilties find easier ways of gardening at home. Gardens dealing with gardening after stroke and with heart disease, with sight loss, for young people who have learning issues, for older people, and for those who have mental health issues.
Why they need our serviceThrive's new gardens will help local disabled people find easier ways of looking after their gardens at home.
Plan and expected resultsThrive is aiming to gain the support of local people, organisations and companies, who are interested in part funding or sponsoring these gardens. The result will be 5 new gardens and an increase in the number of disabled people that Thrive can help each year.
