Gamelanability sessions are tailor-made to suit the needs of each group or individual, and the sessions use gamelan as an accessible, motivational and multi-sensory experience. They can include taster workshops, listening sessions, weekly groups and one-to-one sessions. We bring the gamelan to day centres and arts venues for intensive projects that can work towards a sharing performance and recordings of the participants' music.
Why they need our serviceGamelanability is a range of inclusive workshops run by Naga Mas: so far we have provided a range of gamelan music and story workshops for individuals and groups with additional support needs.
Plan and expected resultsWe are currently planning our future programme and hope to run a Gamelanability programme later this year.
